Popular Backwoods Flavours to Order in Edmonton
Backwoods are known for their rustic, unfinished look — a natural leaf wrapper with a tapered shape and a frayed end. Here are some of the flavours Edmonton customers ask about most:
- Backwoods Original cigars — the classic, with a natural tobacco taste and no added flavouring notes. A good starting point if you're new to the brand.
- Backwoods Honey Bourbon — a sweet honey aroma balanced by a warm, bourbon-inspired note.
- Backwoods Sweet Aromatic — a mellow, slightly sweet profile that many buyers choose as an everyday option.
- Backwoods Dark Stout — a richer, darker profile with roasted, malty notes inspired by stout beer.
The store also carries other varieties such as Vanilla, Grape, Banana, Wild Rum, Black Russian, Russian Cream and limited releases like Smoked Caramel and Dark Berry. Availability changes, so check each product page for current stock before you order.

Age Verification for Backwoods Orders in Alberta
Tobacco products can only be sold to adults of legal age. In Alberta the legal age to buy tobacco is 18, and every order goes through age verification before it's processed. Make sure the name and details you enter at checkout match your identification. Orders that can't be verified won't ship. If you buy for delivery to another province, that province's legal age applies (19+ in most of Canada).
Keeping Your Backwoods Fresh in Edmonton's Dry Climate
Edmonton's air is dry for much of the year, especially in winter when the furnace is running, and natural-leaf cigars like Backwoods can dry out and get brittle if they're left open. A few simple habits help:
- Keep cigars in their original resealable foil pack and press out excess air after each opening.
- Store packs away from heat vents, baseboard heaters and sunny windowsills.
- Don't leave cigars in a vehicle — Edmonton's cold snaps and summer heat are both hard on tobacco.
- For longer storage, an airtight container or a small humidor with a humidity pack works well.
